Get to Know Dr. Katcherian
Dr. Christopher Katcherian is a board certified, Columbia University-trained, Hand, Wrist, and Microsurgeon practicing in Irvine, California. After over a decade working in a group orthopedic setting in Los Angeles, Dr. Katcherian decided the best way for him to deliver personalized, compassionate and excellent care was to start his own solo-private practice. Dr. Katcherian strives to provide the type of care that was once offered by ‘hometown’ physicians by providing professional care in a warm environment, never making his patients feel like a number or rushed through an office visit. These were the types of physicians that inspired Dr. Katcherian in his college years at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).
Just as equally as important, Dr. Katcherian, having trained with the world-renowned hand surgeons, Dr. Melvin Rosenwasser and Dr. Robert Strauch, possesses a specialized expertise in the treatment of the hand, wrist, forearm, soft tissue elbow and the field of microsurgery. He treats the simple to complex and traumatic to elective, always staying on the forefronts of the pulse of Hand Surgery.
Dr. Katcherian lives in Orange County with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the hidden gems of Orange County, from the latest hole in the wall restaurant to a secluded nature walk. Dr. Katcherian is excited to return to Irvine and serve the community in which he grew up.
